Over the next few weeks I will be in production of another fantasy based game, with a focus on oldschool RPG elements. It will be made in tandem with a fellow student who I am eager to work with. After working on the basic designs for the game together, we have branched off to get our sections underway. For me this involved creating the character concepts to be used through development, and so I set out to define a visual style for the game. This is the first basic character concept for the warrior, it is early stages and is likely to change, however it will remain in this style. The game’s combat system will be alike the visual configuration used in games like Final Fantasy V, and is a good time for us both to break out Unity’s 2D aspect for testing.
